Epson Stylus DX8400 Cartridge Issue

Hello,

I'm reaching out for some explanation or tips regarding a problem I've had for some time.
Let me explain: I have an Epson Stylus DX8400 and I had to change the black ink cartridge. I changed it, but the printer still shows the same error message. I changed it a second time and then a third time, but I still can't use it, and it's really frustrating because even at the store, they think the problem is due to the cartridge being no good or something. Basically, they are not willing to help me find the problem; they just leave me to deal with it on my own.

Best regards, Xavier

    Dear internet user
    I have the same printer as you, I advise you to switch to color on the control panel to the left of your printer and then press ok, this will help you avoid spending too much black ink.
    If you still have your message, it is possible that the ink cartridges are not properly installed. Press Ok and try again, making sure to press firmly so that your cartridge is securely clicked in;
    Sincerely yours

    Known issue: the contactors in the printer.
    You need to call Epson support who will guide you on the procedure for sending it for repair/guarantee.
