Hello,
I bought a Zolid SIM card reader and it doesn't want to work on my PC after installation.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    You need to change your disk drive letter to W.

    I just bought a Zolid SIM card reader at Aldi, and I can't install the driver. What should I do?
    I have XP, and I see I'm not the only one in this situation. Do you have any solutions?

      The CD included with the player provides the application in French.
      I did not encounter any installation issues on XP.
      Otherwise, refer to my post just before your question which contains a link to the manufacturer's site (application in English) and it is indeed the ZOLID player purchased at Aldi that we're talking about.

    I have the same problem and I downloaded the software from unisupport.net and the software asks to connect the drive via RS-232
    PS: I lost the CD

      For Alexiia:
      No, I have the mini CD, but you can download the program from the website.
      If the connection is not possible afterwards, it's the drive that needs to be replaced; that's what I did.

    I just bought a card reader and the installation software won't launch, and I have the same issues as mentioned in previous discussions. If you’ve solved the problem, a little help would be appreciated.

      I have the ZOLID SIM card reader that I had already managed to get working.
      I wanted to back up my SIM card and, oh surprise, it asks me to install ser2pl.sys to configure the USB serial adapter.
      Thanks to a forum, I found the driver at:
      https://omenex.com/?p=drivers
      Then it asks me for an RS-232 connection... What a hassle!

      I uninstalled SIM MAX and reinstalled the software found at:
      http://ww12.unisupport.net
      My reader works again.
      I noticed the installation of ser2pl.sys in the provided package, so the first step is unnecessary.

        I am looking for the driver for the ZOLID SIM card reader myself!

        I have downloaded the indicated software, but there is no driver for the reader! So my key is not recognized.


        I am on Vista 64, does anyone have the DRIVER?

    I also bought the SIM card reader at ALDI (The two models: the blue and the black with micro SD reader)
    They work perfectly under XP SP2 and VISTA
    no issues
    Installation of the provided drivers without problems
    everything is OK

      The driver in my possession is a 32-bit
      If you have 64-bit Vista, it won't work
      Why be on 64 bits when 99.99% of software is 32?

    Can you still send me the vista32 driver because I have a laptop running vista32 and it doesn't work there either lol!

    YES, I also downloaded the same software from the same site, and it requests an RS-232 connection even though it has a USB 2.0 input.

    I sent the Zolid reader that couldn't connect to SIEMTECH and they replaced it for me.
