Hello,
I bought a Samsung SGH S400i online, and when I insert my SIM card, it says "incorrect SIM"... I didn't ask the seller which operator it was for... I should have known better!!! lol!!
Is there a code, or something that would allow me to unlock it to switch to Orange?
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

The problem is that I deleted all means of communicating with the seller... once I received the phone, I deleted everything, all happy to have received my new phone very quickly!!! lol!!! Do I really need the name and address of the previous owner?
By the way, I might be able to find his name, but his address, I'm almost sure I can't...

So first, you need to insert your SIM card, it will show SIM error. Then type *#9998*3323#, a list will appear. Next, go to option number 7 and it's done.

Does anyone know? I heard that I should call a number... but should I call Orange or Bouygues?

    Good evening
Ask your seller to unlock your phone. It's the operator and the account holder who must do it. No unlocking here on the forum.

You still have the solution of the little shop around the corner or in your neighborhood for the unlocking.

Do I need to go to a Bouygues store? Or an Orange store?

If Bouygues yes why not, but I doubt they will do it since you are not the account holder. I was talking about the little shop around the corner that unlocks phones for a small fee.

Yes, but here we're not talking about the scooter, which is actually dangerous to unrestrict. This is much less dangerous. What do you want to do? If it doesn't work with the operators Orange, Bouygues, or SFR, then you need to go through that (local shop unlocking) or if you have a friend who knows how to do it, why not.
