Samsung Galaxy locked due to pattern. Solved/Closed

Hello,

So I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy and I set up a pattern for added security. Yesterday, a friend tried to enter the pattern but he made too many attempts and he had to wait 30 seconds, but instead of waiting, he pressed "Forgot pattern," and it went to the Google account login. However, when I try to log in, it supposedly doesn't work... I await your responses! Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello, I have the solution to your problems. I had this issue with my Samsung Galaxy Spica, so I will explain how to do it:

I found the solution that worked for me on another forum.

I had the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy Android
I created a lock pattern and after several errors, the phone asked me to log in via my Gmail account... but it was impossible, I wasn't recognized... just saying that when someone calls you... (or when you call your phone) you have access to all your applications... (during the process you have to stay with x on the other end of the line, otherwise the phone locks again) then you go back to settings > security and location > request a pattern > and you uncheck the box
then you will always see the screen that asks you to log in with your Gmail... you press the button on the right of your phone and you have access to everything like before...
at least that’s how I did it and no more problems

I found something that saved my life because I've been looking online for an answer for at least 3 hours since the same thing happened to me.

Note that my phone version is Galaxy (just that, not Spica).

It asks to enter the Google account

you enter

xxxx@gmail.com

and for the password enter

null (in lowercase)

it asks for a new pattern again and for me everything is back to normal.

< p >In my Galaxy Spica, I tried Nassim's method but I only had a few seconds to get it done, so I didn't have time to get to the settings. So what I did was call my mobile from another mobile, then with the phone I called from, I hung up on mine. Every time you hang up with the phone that calls you, it gives you 3 seconds = one step every three seconds. 1st hang up: go to menu, 2nd hang up: go to settings, 3rd hang up: go to security and location, 4th hang up: disable the little green tick next to Required Model! In 4 calls or more and hang-ups, your phone is unlocked! I apologize if this is poorly explained!< /p >

If your device has not been updated yet, you may have a chance to bypass the security using one of the methods proposed here.

If you have updated the phone and have tried everything, I confirm: The Samsung Galaxy S in Canada is not designed to be unlocked or reset by the consumer; you must return it to the company. Good luck waiting!

Step 1 - Call your mobile from another mobile. Step 2 - Pick up and hang up your mobile. Step 3 - Press the menu button, the one located above the pick-up button, and select "settings"; be careful, you only have 2 seconds before your mobile locks again. Step 4 - Repeat steps 1 and 2, then select "security and location"; again your mobile will lock. Step 5 - Repeat steps 1 and 2, uncheck "pattern required." That's it, the trick worked for me, I hope it works for you, Inchallah.

You just need to go to the Gmail site with your computer. Then you have to either remember your username and click on "forgot password" and reset it. Or if you don't remember it anymore, you create the email and the password! And then you put that back on your phone, and there you recreate your setup!
That's what I did!!

After three days of struggles, I managed to do it. Actually, you need to call your phone, but don't hang up. There's a decline tab with a message; you click on it and it takes you to the messages. You press the back button (at the bottom right)
and then your phone should lead you directly to the reset data menu. You click OK or Activate if you prefer, then it will ask you for your pattern again and that's it. If you want more information, no problem.

PS in my case, resetting the unlock pattern did absolutely nothing! As soon as your screen goes back to sleep, you find yourself back on this damn unlock menu.

You just need to type the beginning of your messaging address and instead of putting your @hotmail.fr or @live.fr, you should put @gmail.fr and your password, and then your phone will be unlocked.

When the phone asks for the Gmail address, you need to enter your username WITHOUT the "@gmail.com"

For example:

Your Gmail address is: stephane@gmail.com
Your password is: 1245

You enter in username: stephane
and in password: 1245

And then miracle! It works!

So I have a Samsung Teos Kenzo and I managed to unlock it. It's really simple, you go to gmail.com, you create a new account. Then it opens the mail page and from there you select the option to use Gmail on a mobile phone, a window opens, you enter your number, and you just have to enter all your details into your phone (don’t forget that it’s not a Hotmail account! but gmail.com) and there you go, phone unlocked....phew!!

I found a totally viable solution that takes 2 minutes :)

I stupidly locked my Galaxy S and tried all the methods from the forum, with no success.

I went to gmail.com. On the right side of the homepage, you have a small link "Having trouble signing in?" Click on it.
Then, it's either one of two things:

-Either you know your gmail address but not your password. In this case, enter the address in the "email address" bar, and that will allow you to reset your password.

-However, it may be that like me, you forgot your address, in which case you just need to click on "Forgot your username?" From there, enter your hotmail address, and gmail will kindly send you an email with all the addresses associated with that number, including the phone one!

-Finally, if you forgot both the password and the gmail address, first recover your address and then reset your password afterwards.

All that’s left for you to do is enter the details in the 2 spaces provided for that on the phone, and marvel at the unlocking of your account :)

I had the same forgot pattern issue on a Samsung Galaxy S I9000 and I found this and it worked, it's a reboot. However, I wasn't offered a forgotten pattern option, nothing at all, I just had to wait 30 seconds and that's it. http://galaxys-team.fr/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=73
Basically, you need to remove the battery and then put it back (I also removed my SIM card and memory card and only put the battery back), then press the volume + button, the menu button, and the power button. Then you navigate using the volume keys and select Wipe data/factory reset, and then I got a page with NO displayed except for one line with YES, I chose that one. Then reboot system; I disconnected the battery, put everything back, and voilà.

He asks you to enter your email and even a password, but he "searches" for a very long time.. Is that right?!
I had this problem last month, you need to go to SFR (or your operator) and like for me the guy gave me the customer service number, my mom called and you need to bring it back! Then your operator sends it to the SFR service (or Orange..) and then they send it back to you within 15 days.. There you go ;)
