Router to deploy a PgAdmin server

Hello,

I’d like to deploy a network between a server and a client and I’m looking for an efficient router for that. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hello,

    You should elaborate a bit on what you want to do, what interests you in a router.

    Because with a server and a client you could put a direct Ethernet cable between the two machines; they constitute a network.

      since this is a database issue, can you move the discussion to the PostgreSQL forum? I don’t think wiring is the right place.

      I have two computers. One will host my PostgreSQL database and will be used as the server. The other computer will allow me to connect remotely (in the same building) and run queries on my database.

    in the same building

    not the same room, nearby? how are the two machines connected, a wired network in the walls? you don't need other machines to be connected? no need for an internet connection?
