My cursor goes to the left

Hello,
For a few days now, my cursor has been moving to the left when I type, as if I were holding down the left arrow key. At first, I managed to cope, thinking it might be a bug... But now it's really becoming frustrating =S For example, when I go to the Start menu, it closes, and I don't even have time to select what I wanted before I’m back at the first step of the menu! But it's actually random; sometimes it constantly moves to the left, then it stops, and other times it only happens for a few letters... But I don't know what it is. I ran a scan with my antivirus (Avast!) but found nothing. I also checked my left arrow key, and that's not the issue ^^
Thanks for your help!

I have a laptop, so I changed the keyboard... =S I checked, my left arrow key works perfectly! I was thinking more of a kind of "prank virus" or something like that...

I have the same issue as debow except that it occurs on my desktop PC. As debow mentioned, it behaves the same way as if the left arrow key were pressed down, even though it isn't. I tried with two keyboards, both Logitech, and had tried connecting them via either PS2 or USB, but nothing works...
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.

Up.
Exactly the same problem, I can't find anything on the web that talks about the subject.
For me, a Sony Vaio FE. Docking station. Changed keyboard and mouse, nothing changes. Not related to an application or a combination of keys.

What's going on? Is it a known bug in Vista? It's very problematic, as it happens anytime.
