Remove AUDIO TRACK Info during playback Solved

Hello,

How can I get rid of the info that appears
in the top left corner: AUDIO TRACK ...
when I play a video, no matter the player,
(Windows Media Player, Power DVD, ...)

I have a problem with watching my videos; every time the audio track information appears. After some research online, it says that I need to uncheck ffdshow. How do I uncheck ffdshow?  Thank you.

Okay, I did it differently. I searched for ffdshow, then uninstalled it. I went to download ffdshow from the internet and then reinstalled it, which fixed my problem!

So, for clarification, for users like Citronverts:

on the quick launch bar, next to the time,
there are the ddfhow icons (I have a blue one for audio decoding and a red one for video, with the initials FFa and FFv, respectively).

Double-click on the blue FFa icon (ffdshow audio decoder).
A window should then appear with a "checkable" menu on the left.
Click on the "checkable" line OSD (for me, the first on the list).

Then, of course, validate the changes with the "Apply" button for the English versions (like me, I don't know if there is a French version, or if it's possible to change the language, but it should be the same).

In any case, that's how I did it thanks to Twin.
When you know where to look, and at worst when you know a little English... it helps :)

For me, it works perfectly now, so I wish you the same result.

P.S.: Don't hesitate to look the same way on the FFv (red) (in OSD as well) if it didn't work with the OSD of the FFa (blue).... hoping to make myself understood... lol..
