Hello,
My father had his mouse pointer stuck on the far left side of the screen this evening, and moving the mouse does not allow it to disengage.
We had to turn off the computer; that was the first reflex we had, fearing initially it was a virus!
If any of you have experienced this before, or if you have any idea about the real cause of the problem, please feel free to share it and post the solution to help us regain control of the mouse, and therefore the computer...

Hello, I have two questions:
1. Is she still blocked or did you come here because you are afraid it might happen again?
2. HP Pavilion is a laptop, so you must use the touchpad, but it is possible to disable it. Check that it is enabled: you probably have the fn key in blue that allows you to use the blue icons on the top of your keyboard. You should find a hand with a finger resting on a square; click on it while holding fn.
