Samsung home theater TX card

Hello,

I'm desperate; I bought the Samsung HQ 100 TX 5.1, basically a very good home theater system, but supposedly sold "wireless." Except that upon arrival, the manual states that to install the wireless option, you need to buy the TX card + the power modules for the speakers... But it's impossible to find in France....
Could someone guide me to a reliable, efficient, and fast supplier?

PS: I called Samsung customer service, and they directed me to Germany (hot potato), without any further details.

I also have the same problem as you. I just bought the Samsung HTX20 home system and I'm also looking for the TX card. If you have any news, please think of us. I still find it unacceptable that they don't mention it on the Samsung website.

The SWA 4000 is only compatible with the following home theaters:
HT Z315R, HTTX500, and HTZ210

For a SWA 3000, you can find them on the auction site, but you'll need to order it
from the States, so don't forget to buy a plug adapter.

No!!! The Samsung SWA-4000 doesn't work with the HT-TX500. I bought the HT-TX500 yesterday (10/22/2008) with the wireless module SWA-4000 and nothing works. I contacted Samsung customer service, and they said there's no issue with compatibility, so I need a SWA-3000... In the end, I'm selling my wireless module or exchanging it for a SWA-3000 because that's the only one compatible with the HT-TX500... I just read your message and this may interest you. I purchased the swa4000 system with the TX card on June 30, 2008. However, it is not compatible with my home theater (HT-TX35) but is with yours (HT Z210). If you are interested, I can send it to you for the price I paid (I will cover the shipping costs (you have a 1-year warranty and the product was purchased in Germany).

I am not selling the swa 3000 but the swa 4000. This module is the new model from Samsung that is compatible with the following 5.1 home theater systems: HT Z315R, HTTX500, and HTZ210. Compatibility with these models has been verified with Samsung (technical service). The HTTX 35 or 30 home theaters are only compatible with the swa 3000 (currently unavailable in France). If you are interested in the 4000, send me an email.

Hello,
I bought a Samsung HTXA100T home cinema system (not distributed in France according to Samsung France) from Cdiscount. I also purchased the SWA-4000 transmitter/receiver from Pixmania. Each party is blaming the other, claiming that the TX card is delivered with either the home cinema or the transmitter.
Can you please tell me where I can buy one, and most importantly, provide me with the corresponding reference?

The ones that Couleypes sold come from Europe and not from the USA. €110 plus you need a transformer! In this case, I prefer to buy it 3 times cheaper than that and directly from the USA. Thanks anyway.

You will find it between 80 and 110 US dollars, plus you have to add the shipping costs from the US + especially the customs fees which correspond to 19.6% of the total. You calculate the total and you will see for yourself that you will not pay 3 times less than 110 euros.
