Hello everyone,
My home cinema is going into protection mode (the red "standby" indicator flashes) preceded by a brief display of: "Protection."
I have dusted the inside of the device, but to no avail...
If someone has the magic fix for this fault, I would be grateful!
Have a good day, kénavo!
Kind regards, Bob.

Indeed, that does seem overheated. Are you sure your device doesn't have a fan that's faulty?

I call a spade a spade...-
Indeed, it runs. But does it run fast enough? That is a question I cannot answer. For a while I could hear a hum, it seems louder than before. Could wear on the fan bearing make it less effective, leading to insufficient cooling? But where can I get a replacement fan to try, or a place to look for one...? Thanks Andy for your help!

- And here is the solution to the problem...
A connoisseur’s answer:
To keep it simple and concise..., your device is junk in a box and you’re lucky it lasted 7 years; on average the lifespan for this type of product is 6 months to 1 year max...
And above all, it’s absolutely not worth repairing, it would cost more than a new device...
Count yourself lucky that your device functioned for so long, and please, buy a real home theater system to replace it (no Samsung, no LG)...
Problem solved...!
