Hello, I am looking for an application for RAW photos.

Which software do you recommend between RawTherapee and Darktable?
I heard about RawTherapee on the forum

I am a beginner

Thank you

Windows 10 64-bit only. Core i3, I doubt it strongly, especially since this type of software requires a minimum amount of RAM (I’d say 16 GB).

This type of image processing software isn’t used on entry-level PCs.

I just transferred 48MP photos taken in JPEG+RAW from my drone. The file size in MB is about double. But is it normal that the pixel size is very small, about 460x490? While in JPEG it's 8000x6000 (I clicked see details).

I tried opening the RAW file and it opens with Paint, but it's obvious that the quality is poor.
I didn't dare download the app.

I only answered the question about a software that can process RAW files. Not knowing whether your PC is compatible, I cannot comment on opening a RAW file if no compatible software is installed (Paint surely isn’t).

        I’m handing it off.
