Thomson HT400TB Home Cinema Sound Issue

Hello,

We bought a Thomson HT 400TB home theater system and we have no sound. We tried connecting it via HDMI to RCA, but nothing works. Even the sound from the tuner comes out of my TV; no sound is coming from the speakers. If anyone can help, thank you in advance.

    Hello. You either need to connect a Scart behind the TV to the home cinema, or connect a Scart to the TV with two RCA cables. These two cables should be connected to the RCA inputs on the home cinema. Then you need to display AUX on the front of the home. See you.

      Hello, I also have the Thomson HT 400TB; the sound from my TV wouldn't come out of the home theater, and my husband found out we just needed to connect the HDMI cable from the home theater to the TV. Then you have to press the source button and switch to audio output 1 or 2 depending on where you connected your HDMI cable at the back of your home theater. After that, you need to press prologic II (on the remote), and that should activate everything, and then you can go back to your channel to watch TV. I hope this helps you.

    Is the sound of the television set to external speakers? (menu)
    Please double-check your manual and follow the wiring of the speakers in your device's "too small" manual!
    Use a magnifying glass as I did...
    Be careful if you haven't activated the "silence or mute" button on the remote control.

    Hello, I have a Samsung TV UE50H6400 and likewise, I've tried everything HDMI, RCA, OPTICAL, impossible to have sound from the TV or even from the XBOX on the Thomson HT400BT, yet with the old PHILIPS TV, everything worked perfectly via RCA.
