Bugs on SAMSUNG U600 phone

Hello,

Here I am, the unfortunate owner of a Samsung U600 (3 breakdowns in two months and finally SFR is replacing it!!!!) and after changing two circuit boards, 2 antennas, etc., and 2 software updates of the phone, it is down again. It all starts with words that I can no longer add to the dictionary when I write SMS with T9, then a few days later, the breakdowns happen one after the other, I can no longer write SMS at all and the phone shuts off and restarts at any moment, etc....

However, SFR will not replace it for 4 to 5 weeks. Therefore, I would like to try to update the phone's software myself so that I can still use it until then. Is it possible to do this digitally??? Can I do what Samsung repairers do and perform a software reset?

NOTE: I am not talking about resetting the settings via the phone (I have already done that), I am specifically talking about a complete software reset (the one that formats all data, etc. of the phone) and obviously with the software update. Because I think this manipulation would be enough to solve my problems.

    Hello friend! Regarding the reset of your U600, that's called a "Hard Reset"! That means you reset your phone, and it will be as it was when you bought it! The operation is very simple, however, it erases everything you have on your phone (numbers, videos, games, ringtones, etc.)! But what you have on your SIM card or possibly on your memory card will not be erased at all! Only what is on the phone itself!
    Also, know that the "Hard Reset" does not void the warranty, as it does not cause any malfunction of the phone! So you can go ahead without worry!

    To perform a "Hard Reset", you need to enter a code like this on your main screen: *2767*3585#
    Your phone will turn off by itself and restart automatically! Everything will be reset to zero!

    I don't have the exact code in mind but I wrote it down on a piece of paper; as soon as I find it, I'll give it to you!

    I have very big problems....

    - I often find myself unable to send texts....
    - The person who should receive it only gets it half an hour later!!!!!!

    - I can't make calls...the phone disconnects and tells me the call is finished even though I haven't reached my contact!!!!

    - Sometimes I'm not reachable, meaning my friend hears nothing after dialing the number....and when by chance a ring is heard on their end, well on mine my phone doesn't ring and the person goes to voicemail....

    - My phone rings after an hour or half an hour, and then I know someone tried to reach me because I have a message on my voicemail if it was willing to record it because it also happens that the message wasn't saved!!!

    I'M GONNA GO CRAZY!!!!!!

    Could someone please enlighten me.?????!!!!!!....

    Hello to all happy or unhappy owners of the U600, I want to report a bug with the camera. Indeed, the image stutters before taking it, and if I have the misfortune of pressing to take the pic, the phone auto-resets.

    Still under warranty, I took it to Bouygues (my new operator for a year) and after 6 weeks of waiting, I received a letter stating that this malfunction is not covered by the warranty. It's actually the main motherboard... It's oxidized. So I have the choice between buying a new phone or paying €160 for repairs.

    There you go, a little info just to point out no humidity near your Samsung U600. It's very, very, very fragile, stylish, but it's a piece of junk.

    However, the phone option still works without any problem (calls and texts)

      Yesterday, I added a lock password to my Samsung U600, in addition to my first PIN code. This means that every time I want to turn on my phone, I first have to enter my password to unlock it and then the PIN code. However, I suppose I made a mistake when saving my unlock password because it’s not working. Is there a way to do a "hard reset" with the phone turned off?

      To unlock your U600, you need to connect your USB cable to the PC, turn on the phone, and launch Lucifer 1.03.
      Select the correct COM port, choose U600, then in the "PHONE RESET" section, check the "Stack reset" box, and click "SET".

      Maybe that's it apparently

      If you don't get an error message, everything is fine.

      Remove and reinsert the battery, restart your U600 and it should be unlocked.

      Edit: you need to put the U600 in Samsung PC mode when it asks between 3 choices. Then once the log is launched, simply find your COM port and do not read the phone info, just follow the instructions above....

      My phone only tells me that the SIM is invalid... it accepts it but works in limited service, so no calls or contacts.. nothing.
