TNT decoder SAGEM update Solved

Question

Hello,

I updated my Sagem decoder last night, which went from "01-" to "Init" and then to "Menu". The TV has a nice black screen and that’s it. I went to bed leaving everything as is just in case... But the same situation this morning. A bug in the update?

Good evening the er09 problem on SAGEM PVR 8240T was due to a faulty power supply on my part, I replaced the 240/12V DC transformer and it's been fine since.

I also carried out this update last night (and it was very long, over 15 minutes), my TV screen went into standby! It then became impossible to restart it without the remote control (power on/off has no effect), could the problem be there?

Hello,
I am in charge of updating several SAGEM decoders in my family. While I managed to update the PVR decoders without any issue to reach firmware version 0.4.7 EU, it is not the same for a DVR6240 GL-T decoder with firmware version 0.1.8 EU that I can't seem to update. This decoder was purchased during the PVR to DVR transition and was actually sold in a PVR 40 Gb packaging. The problem is that the update always ends up with ER 10 when it's not ER 09. I know from experience that patience is required, as with one of the TNT decoders during the switch to version 0.4.6 EU at the beginning of the year before the error 10, poor signal quality disappeared, but I am worried about this transitional decoder's ability to update, given the numerous attempts already made.
If anyone has encountered the same difficulty, please share your experience.

Which model are we talking about? DVR6240 or PVR6240? which firmware?
Mine is a transition model purchased at Darty in December 2006 with the reference PVR 6240 T but in reality, it's a DVR 6240 GL FR. The firmware version is 0.1.8 EU whereas most of the DVRs that successfully updated to firmware version 0.6.4.d EU started from version 0.2.7.c EU.
I also notice that I have two TNT signal tests during startup and not just one. Furthermore, I have all the channels but I don't have the latest features of firmware version 0.6.4.d EU that fails to install.
I went to Darty this morning to ask what I should do since my decoder is still under warranty, but I only encountered staff who knew nothing about TNT. They advised me to call customer service.
The error generally observed is ER 10 which means insufficient TV signal.
Otherwise, the update for 3 PVR6240 with hard drives changed during the last update to 250 Gb or 320 Gb didn't pose any problems this time.
I think my DVR6240 is going to end up taking a little trip to SAGEM for its upgrade.

I just updated my ISD 91 decoder

On my Samsung TV with HDMI input 1.3 and above, I have no sound and since the update, it receives only the channel broadcasting in AC3 in full screen through the HDMI port

Have you experienced this problem and when will SAGEM go beyond 1.3?

Hello, I have the same problem, ISD91 TNT decoder and Samsung TV  no sound via HDMI and image in 4:3  --> currently connected via SCART  thank you for your advice if someone has resolved the issue

Same problem via HDMI from HD91: choppy sound. I’m outputting the sound via RCA to the amplifier. Moreover, the remote control hardly ever responds. What’s up???

With the Sagem satellite TNT decoder, connected to the hard disk recorder via SCART, if I plug the HDMI cable into the Panasonic Full HD plasma TV, whether it's from the recorder or the decoder, it refuses to record citing copy protection.

If I understand correctly, to record a TV show, I need to unplug the HDMI cables. Super convenient, what do you think? Does anyone have a tip, so to speak...

But for the SAGEM 74 terminals that are bugged, do
Turn off the decoder with the red stop button on the remote control, wait for the decoder to turn off, then turn it back on and at the same time press the 1 button several times; the bug should disappear. Do not tune in to channels starting with 12/122/ext.
