Hello,

I am reaching out to you because I installed a repeater, it works very well but it blocks one application. This application tells me to check my username, password (which is correct) but also the server address. I tried reconnecting directly with my main line, it works but the network is too weak so I lose the connection. So it must be something with the repeater, is there anything I can do? Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

No, it shouldn't do that, especially on just one site.

What is this repeater connected to?

And there you go, there it is....

But goodness, those line breaks are annoying!!

A repeater does not differentiate between applications; one may be less tolerant of packet loss, but fundamentally, there is no difference.

What do you mean by a direct connection? Is it actually in access point mode, connected via Ethernet to the box?

What model is this BB08? The search yields nothing; are you sure it's not in router mode?

It is plugged into an outlet and works via Wi-Fi with the box and is not connected via Ethernet. I followed the installation manual.

It's: Powerful Wireless WiFi Repeater, 6 Antennas Fast Transmission 2 LAN Ports Outdoor WiFi Extender WiFi Coverage of 12000 Sq.Ft Signal Booster (White)

    I bought it on Amazon.

    I don't understand.

So when you say a plug, you mean an electrical socket to power it?
