9800x3d and RAM shortage

Hello,

I'm currently putting together a very nice PC setup.

Here it is:

GPU: RX9070XT xfx swift

CPU: 9800x3D

PSU: msi 850w gold

Motherboard: B650 aeorus AX V1

For the RAM, I managed to snag some Kingston Fury 2*16 GB 5600MHz CL36. I know that tighter timings (CL30 or lower) at 6000 MHz would be better, but with the RAM shortage, it's really becoming complicated to get some.

Is my choice a handicap?

    Hello

This motherboard has 4 slots, you can also put 4 x 8 GB in dual channel

    This expands the choice options

    Hello

In terms of performance, you wouldn't see any differences between RAM at 5200MHz or 6000MHz; it's only measurable in benchmarks, not in normal usage.

    Hello,

I was taken aback when I noticed the prices of RAM sticks, especially DDR5, which have doubled since September. If you haven't bought one yet, I would advise you to get a motherboard based on the B850 chipset rather than the B650. You can find more complete options at more affordable prices, especially from MSI.
