Strange display and startup issues...

Can someone help me figure out the issue with this mess that's driving me crazy, please?
When I'm using DisplayPort, sometimes the screen freezes; this seems to happen with certain games. I have a colored background that covers about 10/20% of the desktop, but the top of the screen remains visible, and the PC is frozen, so I have to force a reboot.
And I have another issue at the same time (I'm mentioning it because I think it might be related to the DisplayPort or the screen): if I start the PC without turning on the monitor, the PC doesn't boot. However, if the monitor is on, the PC starts up and everything is fine.
I suspect there might be something to do with the DisplayPort, maybe settings to adjust in the BIOS, things to enable in there? I assume the problem is related to the DisplayPort, at least that's my initial thought...
This happens since I switched to a 1440p screen (msi G272QPF E2). At 1440p, I have a 6700 xt, and it's the same graphics card I had when I was at 1080p. I did a clean install of the drivers using DDU in safe mode, but that didn't solve anything, and it's driving me extremely crazy because I can't find a solution to this...

Hello,
Most likely hypothesis (ranking)
- DISPLAYPORT CABLE
Even new ≠ good.
The DP is extremely sensitive at 1440p / 165 Hz
A limited DP cable may:
Work at 1080p
BUGGER at 1440p
Create EXACTLY this type of partial freeze
This is the number 1 cause in such cases.
- FreeSync / VRR bug on MSI + AMD
Very common on certain MSI + Radeon screens.
- Deep Sleep / DP Hot Plug Detect
The PC waits for the screen → the screen sleeps → boot blocked
- BIOS / UEFI / Fast Boot
Less frequent, but possible.
THE MOST IMPORTANT TEST (before anything else)
➜ Change the DisplayPort cable
MANDATORILY:
Certified DP 1.4
Short (≤ 1.5 m)
Not the one supplied with the screen
Reliable brands:
KabelDirekt
UGREEN
Club3D
MSI SCREEN SETTINGS (VERY IMPORTANT)
In the OSD menu of the screen:
ABSOLUTELY disable:
FreeSync / Adaptive Sync
DP Deep Sleep
Auto Source
HDR (for testing)
Then:
Force DP 1.4 if option available
Set 144 Hz instead of 165 Hz (temporarily)
CRUCIAL TEST
Connect the screen via HDMI
Even at 1440p.
If no freeze
If the PC boots even with the screen off
Verdict:
DisplayPort is 100% the cause
STEP 4 – AMD Settings (quick)
In Adrenalin:
Disable:
Enhanced Sync
Radeon Anti-Lag
Chill
Leave everything at default
