Hello

I have Office 2016 (student license) installed on my old PC, and I want to install version 2024; are there any constraints/precautions to take?

Hello,

To install Office 2024 on an old PC, make sure your OS (Operating System) is compatible (Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019, or Windows Server 2022).

Follow the download and installation instructions provided by Microsoft, using the configuration file office-2024.xml if needed.

Hello, thank you for this information. To clarify my approach, I have a recently upgraded Windows 11 PC; however, I have identified multiple Microsoft Office installations on my hard drive, for example: *C/program files/Microsoft office 15; but also C/program files (x86)/Microsoft 12 and Microsoft 16 and in Settings / Apps / Microsoft 365 business; I’m afraid that if I install another package, I will lose all my Outlook exchanges/contacts/folders?
