Hello everyone,

since it's been almost 5 years since I've been keeping up with developments, I need your opinions for a gaming PC.

It would mainly be to run LMU (Le Mans Ultimate) or something similar.

I think ideally I would like a graphics card like the 5070 or 4070 or even the 5060Ti (yes, for both the card and the processor, I would prefer Intel).

For memory, I think it would be wise to go for 32GB.

However, for the rest, I'm not quite sure which components would be compatible with each other.

Would it be possible for you to make some PC suggestions (choosing components from LDLC since I live near a store), and in your opinion, would it be feasible for around €1500?

In this budget, I'm only talking about the tower.

Hello,

LDLC has a configurator that can help you choose components that are likely compatible. But €1500 might be on the tight side for a gaming setup. Let's give it a try anyway. Here’s an example assembled, without an OS. It goes a little over €1500.

Indeed, we are slightly exceeding, but I know very well that we always try to provide the best while staying as close as possible to the initial price.

So, when I mentioned €1500, I had initially planned to spend a little more.

Your proposal already gives me a basis, as I have never built a PC, I always fear putting together incompatible components.

Hello

Also, an Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF instead of the Intel Core Ultra 5 245K will save you 14 € on LDLC.

It's exactly the same, just the graphics chip is missing, which you don't need in your case since you have a dedicated graphics card.

I have just slightly increased my budget, and I have made several simulations, and after 4 different configurations, I arrive at this result.

It would be around €1620.

Do you think it is coherent?

The problem is that you want to build a new PC and you are choosing a platform with a socket (1700) that is at the end of its life, while the current Intel socket is 1851. Your PC won't be very upgradeable for long.*

PS: Where did you choose these components?

Then I will try to create a new setup with the 1851 card.

I do my setup simulations on LDLC.

I agree, regarding the CPU and the motherboard, it is better to stick with the initial choices.

PS: Looking back, I'm surprised I chose the RTX4060Ti instead of a RTX 5060Ti!

I didn't even pay attention, because I was heading to take the one above.

For now, I'm leaning more towards an RTX5070.

As for the motherboard, I'm still torn between two models (one from Asus and one from MSI).

I hadn’t come back, but I’m still going to show you my final setup.

I put it together a little over two weeks ago, and I’m thrilled with it.

My simulation game runs impeccably well, and at first glance the temperatures don’t exceed 60 degrees.

Hoping it continues like this.
