Hello,
I accidentally deleted an important SMS on my Xiaomi 13T Android phone.
Is there a way to recover it? A free app that allows me to do so?
Google One is enabled on my phone, but upon checking, it has only backed up messages from 2024, even though SMS is checked on the phone.

Hello,
Deleted messages are permanently erased and cannot be restored unless you have a backup. Unfortunately, if Google One indicates that the last backup dates back to 2024, I’m afraid you cannot recover those messages.

Edit: Maybe check if the SMS have been backed up on Xiaomi Cloud.

However, I see that the SMS backups are done regularly by Google One. But in Drive, there is only 2024; I don't understand. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place?
In Google One, I don't see where to retrieve the messages...
I'm going to check with Xiaomi, but I'm not sure that it's backed up...

To check the date of the last Google backup, go to Settings > Google > All services > Backup.
If the backup was made before the messages were deleted, you will need to reset the phone and restore it from that backup to recover the messages. However, this will erase any data created right after the backup.
For Xiaomi Cloud, go to Settings > Mi Account > Xiaomi Cloud or on the Mi Cloud website. Normally, I believe there is a recycle bin that allows you to restore deleted items from the last 30 days.
