How to recover accidentally deleted crypt14 files?

Hello,

While trying to clean up my WhatsApp database files in the file manager on my Xiaomi, running Android, I accidentally deleted the crypt14 files that contained my WhatsApp backups.

Consequently, I can no longer restore my previous WhatsApp with all the photos I wanted to keep.

My question is: do you know if it's possible to recover the crypt14 file from the phone's memory?

    Hello.

    Install Recuva on your PC, connect your phone to your PC so that its storage space appears in Windows Explorer, and try to recover your files withRecuva.

    Thank you for your very quick response.

    May I ask why RECUVA in particular and not DroidKit or PhoneRescue?

    What are the differences between them as I’m a bit confused.

      It is effective and free, which is not the case with the two you mentioned; there is also Photorec which is even more powerful, but its interface is austere and puts more than one off.
