The mouse is freezing

Hello

After installing Windows 10 on a blank disk, the mouse gets stuck: let's say I move the mouse linearly from left to right, after a few seconds the mouse will freeze and then jump to a new location a few seconds later (it seems that the path continued during the freeze). I reinstalled Windows 10 from the cloud, but it didn't change anything.

Best regards

    Hello,

Check the status of your disk according to the color code Blue, Yellow, or Red using CrystalDiskInfo

    https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/

With a fresh install of Windows, unless the configuration is really unsuitable, it may indicate a hardware problem, or drivers at best.

Provide more information about the hardware and we may be able to guide you better.

    You can look for DxDiag.exe

To see the System Model etc.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to me.

    Additional information:

At the beginning of the installation, the mouse works normally, but during the installation, two things happen; the loading icon, the spinning dots, stutter (freeze for a few seconds) and the mouse freezes at the same time as the dots freeze. The problem may be more related to display or video than to the mouse. (however, movies play normally)

The computer is an all-in-one HP 20-r001nf (I value it because of the 19-inch screen)

500 GB hard drive, 4096 MB memory, cannot upgrade to Win 11.

My intervention: replaced the hard drive, which failed, I installed Win 10 from a USB stick, then tried to resolve my issue by reinstalling from the cloud (unsuccessfully).

    Best regards.
