Hello,

since the last Windows update (yesterday), it has been impossible to keep my Outlook messaging in French... no matter how I set the language, date formats, and time... etc., every time I open my email account, it returns to English. How can I make it stay in French? I've been using this email service for 10 years, and nothing like this has ever happened... I'm on Windows 10, and I use Mozilla as my browser, but the same thing happens with Edge... If anyone can help, thank you in advance.

    Hello

The display in English in Outlook (new) is probably a bug due to the update...

    Current version: 1.2025.219.400 (Production)
    Client version: 20250221002.13
    WebView2 version: 133.0.3065.82 (Stable)

    See you later

    Hello frangui86

Try deleting the cookies from Outlook.live and return to your mailbox

Attention! You need to remember your password

    See you!

Good evening, I've just done it; it hasn't changed anything... deleted the history, cleaned the computer with Ccleaner, nothing works, it's strange but also very unpleasant

    Hello

If you access the site https://outlook.live.com with your ID and password, what language does your account display?

If it's not in French, try changing your language in the account (top right, My Profile)

Then check the Outlook mail app on Windows to see if it retains the language change you set...

    Talk to you later

        Hello frangui86

So you're telling me that accessing the account at https://outlook.live.com is displayed in English?

So you didn’t read my response properly...

        What’s the point.

Sorry, if I followed your recommendation correctly (very late last night). My account is still displayed in French and the profile too...

Maybe I need to uninstall the latest Windows update...

    Good evening,

Try right-clicking in an empty space on the large horizontal Outlook bar at the top of the page, then Translate to French.

Detected language is French; otherwise, modify it using the three vertical dots.

well, the problem solved itself... without doing anything, after three days of struggling to find a solution...

I do this at every login; and it reverted to English at the next login (!)
