Problem with HP 903 cartridge from Action

Hello, my HP OfficeJet 6950 printer no longer accepts the 903 XL cartridges from Action. I have disabled the protection that HP puts in place to ensure that we only use their cartridges because I've always used generic cartridges from the beginning. This has been the case for all my previous printers.

I don't know what to do anymore, I would really like to use my new cartridges...

    Hello,

    I think it would be better to take them back to Action since they are new, and discuss an exchange with them.

    I don't think that providing help that might allow someone to circumvent a protection set by HP is really in line with the forum's guidelines.

    thank you very much for your quick response. It's very kind of you.

    I tried something I read somewhere, and oh miracle, it worked!

    I removed the cartridge, turned off the printer immediately, turned it back on right away, put the troublesome cartridge back in, turned off the printer again, counted to 10 (I don't know why I made that up....) and then turned the printer on. It thought about it and accepted it. Well, for this time, but next time......
