Hello,

so I’m really not very good with computers. I have a 10-year-old Acer whose battery doesn’t work anymore, so I plug it into the mains directly and that’s enough for me because I’m retired. Since it switched to Windows 11 I’ve had nothing but trouble since I couldn’t download it, so I’m thinking of buying a new computer in the fall, but in the meantime I’ve got a really big problem today that never happened before: the splash screen switches immediately to a black page with a yellow and white lock and a red exclamation point in the middle. I tried to repair with AI but it was a failure despite the two or three hours I spent in front of my computer and I can’t take it anymore! … Would someone have a solution please?

    Good evening,

    There is no viable solution for a 10-year-old Acer PC or older. It is normal that you cannot download Windows 11. It apparently is not equipped with the TPM 2.0 chip.
