Photos in the taskbar

Hello everyone,
When I open my photo gallery and click on the first photo, it opens normally. But when I close the photo and want to open another one, it opens in the taskbar and not on my desktop. And for all the other photos, it's the same thing.
I have to close my photo gallery and reopen it to have the first photo open on my screen and not in the taskbar. However, for the second photo and the others, they all open in the taskbar every time.

I don't know how to fix this problem. Windows 10

Hello,

Are you talking about the "Photos" app from the Microsoft Store?

You can try to repair or reset it in Settings > Apps

Or if you want to try another viewer that is convenient, you can use FastPictureViewer Legacy version, either 32 or 64 bit depending on your PC.

Hello, I suggest this method: you open your photo folder, click on a file, right-click, and in the tab, right-click again; click 'Open with' and choose the application of your choice such as 'Photos' or others, but you can also select 'Choose another app' at the bottom and you will have other options like VLC and Windows Media Player, with Windows Media Player then being the default choice.
