Unable to hide the taskbar

Hello,

The question is in the subject.

Of course, I checked the box "auto-hide the taskbar" in its properties.

To make it disappear, I go to the Task Manager, select "Windows Explorer," which is actually "explorer.exe." I click on "End Task," and then I restart the process by creating a new task "explorer.exe." And there, miracle, the taskbar hides as long as the PC stays on.

BUT, when I restart the computer, well again the taskbar doesn't hide.

If anyone has a solution. Maybe tweaking something in the registry??
Or is it a Windows 10 bug?

Thank you

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 41.0

    Hi,

I experience the same thing from time to time.
Right-click on the taskbar and select properties.
Uncheck and then recheck lock the taskbar while clicking apply in between.
This will save you from having to close Explorer.

      Good evening Papoune

I just tested your method, it doesn't work for my PC.

I'm going to leave the post running for a while, maybe I'll get a response. Otherwise, I'll just let it run, but it's annoying sometimes when you have to click a button like "ok, save, cancel, etc...." that is located under the bar.

Windows 10 is a problem in itself!
