Flashing power button and PC won't turn on

Hello, I have an HP Pavilion 15-eh1022nf laptop that I use for gaming. 10 minutes ago, I tried to change the thermal paste on the laptop because it was starting to overheat easily. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy because I had to shift the cooler since a screw was broken. When I put it back in place, I realized that I hadn't turned it off, and the on/off symbol was flashing. So, I removed the battery, put it back, and since then, the on/off button continues to flash every 3 seconds, the fan doesn't turn on, and neither does the screen. I should mention that I have already checked several times to see if any cables were disconnected, but no. Please, how can I fix it?
