Acer aspire a517-51 that won't turn on
Nicoelectro -
Hello, my laptop won't turn on (Acer Aspire A517-51).
When I press the power button, the power light turns blue for 5 seconds and then turns off.
I’ve tried discharging the capacitors, removing the battery, and checking the RAM, but nothing works.
The charger works fine; when I plug it in, the charging indicator lights up.
Furthermore, it was working perfectly the day before, I don't understand.
If someone can help me, thank you.

Hello,
I am a computer repair technician and I have encountered the same problem 4 times already with the same Acer a517-51 laptops.
And every time it has the same source of problem: the keyboard.
And each time the solution has been to replace this keyboard.
It's a bit tricky to do, as the keyboard is "soldered" with plastic.
To verify that it's the same problem, you have to disassemble the laptop until you reach the keyboard connection. Start the computer and immediately unplug the keyboard, the computer should work.
Good luck.
