Keyboard unable to switch from Belgian to French

Hello, I'm struggling to change the input language of my keyboard which is set to Belgian... I've searched through all the settings for quite a while but can't modify it! I'm currently on Windows 10 Professional

If it helps, I've attached a screenshot with the language settings

Just to clarify, when I go to settings / time & language / language / keyboard, I only have "French (France) - French (Belgium)" and I can't add anything else...

Thank you for your help :)

    Hello,

You have a Belgian keyboard (Belgian AZERTY) with the @ on the key that has 2,é,@ above the A and Z keys

The language to choose is French (Belgium)

That's exactly what doesn't work for me, my keyboard is indeed Belgian, but I would like to change the settings to switch it to French. For the keys, I can manage with stickers or by changing the keys, but I would like Windows to recognize it as French.

        You are selected French (France)

If you hold down AltGr and type the key 2 above A and Z, what do you get?

Same with AltGr and 0 above O and P

altgr + 2 gives @ and altgr + 0 gives } so my keyboard behaves just like a Belgian one, which is exactly what I can't manage to change

Whether you choose French (France) or French (Belgium) makes no difference to the typing?

    I finally found...

the language "french (france)" was set manually with the belgian keyboard... it's a refurbished PC so I think that's why it wasn't as it was originally
