Hello,

My tabs disappear every time I close Firefox... I’m talking about the ones above the menu bar, the ones we pin...

Is it possible to save them?

Thank you for your answers :-)

    Hello,

    Pinned tabs Firefox:

Maybe it will be implemented one day!

I think the person who designed the pinned tabs to disappear with the order of closing the window is a complete idiot. This issue has been reported by the community for 5 years and no one has solved it.

That said, a workaround is possible.

Here is the procedure for those who might be interested:

    Install the extension =► PersistentPin

The purpose of the extension --► Pin the same websites during browser restarts.

What's unfortunate is that we cannot pin the extension in the Firefox toolbar from puzzle (unified extensions), the most likely cause is manifest 3.

You need to open the Firefox extensions settings for that.

In the address bar, type or copy-paste --► about:addons

    Click on ==►PersistentPin

    Click on --► Options

Or on the small horizontal dots then on --► Options

    Configuring the extension:

    Check both boxes:

--► Add ''Grab currently pinned tabs'' to tab context menu

(Add "Grab currently pinned tabs" to the tab context menu)

--►Pin the websites in all opened windows

(Pin the websites in all opened windows).

    Close the extensions page tab.

Now, open a site you want to pin.

Right-click on the tab --►Pin this tab

Last step, for this pinned tab, right-click and click on --► Grab currently pinned tabs

    Close Firefox.

    Restart Firefox.

In the upper left corner, the pinned tabs will appear after a short time (Loading tabs) according to the number of pinned tabs.

Another option is to do it from the extension options:

Open a site you want to pin.

Go to the extension options PersistentPin

And click on --► Grab currently pinned tabs

    The site will be pinned.

    That’s it.

    Good luck...

    Hello,

In principle, I don't use it, in Settings-General-Open previous windows and tabs but it doesn't make much sense, why would you want to close Firefox instead of bookmarking the relevant sites?

      hi brucine:-)

I like to place them above the menus so I have direct access... and they are also temporary while those below are permanent... do you understand?

and I checked the box "open previous windows and tabs" but it doesn't save them after all...

        Hello

Did you set up something like deleting everything when we close Firefox? To erase browsing history?

Because the last opened tabs, that's the browsing history.

        hi beautiful ^^

"Did you set something like 'delete everything when closing Firefox'?"

and how do I see that?

as far as I remember, no, I didn't do that...

Thank you all, and especially Pistouri for your feedback...

Right now, the problematic PC is not available, but I will try what you suggested...

I will give you an update tomorrow...

    Good evening to everyone :-)

      Hi folks :-)

There’s been a change, I’m going to take my PC back to the store... I talked to an HP employee and I have to return it due to a manufacturing defect... it’s been nothing but trouble for me...

I’ll still keep an eye on this topic just in case I run into the same issue... and I really hope I don’t :-)

      Thanks everyone :-)
