Asus Desktop M32CD Power Button

Hello everyone,
As is customary, I would like to first extend my best wishes for the year 2024 and hope you have as few issues as possible with the new technology.
Next, I would need your expertise and advice.
I have a desktop PC, model ASUS M32CD, whose power button is not working. There are 4 wires (red, black, white, and green) and it has a 19-pin connector on the motherboard side. I've done research for several days, but I couldn't find it. Finally, I did find one site that had it, with a delivery time of 7 weeks, only to have my order cancelled.
What do you recommend for replacing this "switch"?
Thank you in advance.

Hello Toto_alias_eric,
Your photos are way too blurry!
"7 weeks, only to cancel my order": I'm not surprised!
Replacement parts are rarely sold to the "general public".► Why don’t the green and white wires have contacts?
► Look here, you never know?
► Or here, still in stockBest wishes for this new year 2024!

Hi @txiki StatusContributor,
First of all, thank you for your reply and I'm sorry for the late response...
(sorry for the blurry photos, here are some clearer ones)- The green and white do have a connection (see below), my photos were indeed bad, so it probably wasn't clear
- I've already scoured a good part of the internet and I can't find this model...
- Do you think the examples you're giving me are compatible?? Given that it's not the same UC model? And especially since the green and white cables don't seem to be in the same place :(
That said, from what I've understood, are the green and white really important??

Hello
There is one pair for the "on" button, the other pair is a LED integrated into the button.
It needs to be replaced with a button like the one in the first link from txiki, which has the same two pairs; the connection to the motherboard will need to be looked at depending on the old connector (there are abbreviations on the motherboard), and on the case side, you may need to drill to fit the new button.

Hello everyone,
On my second link, there are plenty of categories of boards, check out the thumbnails of the boards at the bottom, then click on one of them, then again on the images on the left (they disappear when you click on them) but display elements, spare parts.
PS: I think the price is quite high anyway! It's not cheap for what it is!
Warning, read the sentence in red carefully.
Connectors often have 9 pins...The other solution, if you're handy, is to remove the pins from your 19-pin connector. You need to pinch the tab that locks them onto this connector.
Make sure to see how they are secured. The photo is not big enough (close-up on these pins) to guarantee the manipulation but personally, I've done quite a few...
Best regards!

Hello everyone,
A slightly late response, but this will wrap up the subject.
I opted for the option of ordering a 9-pin button, removing the connectors from the 9-pin and placing them into the 19-pin, and everything works perfectly (well, except for the LED, but that’s not a big deal...) Thanks to you @txiki StatusContributor for the idea ;)
Thank you all for reading and especially for responding to my request.Have a great end of the week!
