System storage check 26% then black screen

Hello, I had to force stop my PS4 due to a bug in-game, which triggered a system storage check & I received a message telling me to do an update via USB, which I did. Now I'm stuck at 26% of the verification and an infinite black screen appears. What should I do, please?

    You might be encountering a problem with your PS4 hard drive. You can try the following two solutions:

    1. Restart the PS4 in Safe Mode. To do this, completely turn off the console, then press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps. This could resolve the issue.

    2. If that doesn't work, you can try rebuilding the database. To do this, start the PS4 in Safe Mode as mentioned above, then select the "Rebuild Database" option. Be careful, this may take some time and should not be interrupted.

    If neither of these options works, you may need to consider replacing the hard drive.
