Reactivate Office 2021 after Uninstallation-Reinstallation

Hello,

I have never uninstalled Office 2021.

I have some issues in Outlook 2021 + a little bug).

I know how to uninstall Office 2021.

I'm a bit scared that I won't be able to reactivate it after reinstallation.

When I reinstall the Office pack, do I have to enter a series of codes again to activate the license?

My technician left me a key in writing (5 sequences of letters and numbers separated by -) as well as an ID (8 sequences of 6 digits separated by -).

Do I need to enter the key or the ID?

Is the reactivation immediate after entry or can it take some time?

Thanks in advance for the answers.

Sincerely

    Hello
It's very quick, you just need to enter it when starting one of the Office applications; it shouldn't take more than a few seconds.
    Best regards

    Thank you

Does "encode" mean in my case to type the key or the ID?

    Thank you

    Good evening,

Normally, you need to enter the activation key.

    Hello everyone,

You could start by repairing, just in case...
It's in Programs and Features (where you can uninstall). Select the program and click Modify, then Repair.

In addition to the thank you (yes, it can be done!!!), remember to mark it as resolved. Thank you

No, it's not possible in my case. I have to uninstall everything, run CCleaner, and reinstall the Office suite properly. The initial question I was asking was: do I need to go through the entire annoying activation process via Microsoft's audiotex again, or do I just need to re-enter the 8-digit sequence that was originally given by the audiotex during the first activation?

    Hello (yes, it happens...),

As mentioned above, you will need to enter the key (5 sequences of letters and numbers separated by -)

It also depends on the type of license you have purchased. There are licenses limited to one device (the one you get when you extend your trial of a pre-installed version that has expired), which are cheaper but non-transferable. If you change your PC, or even the motherboard, you have to buy another license.
Others are more expensive and can be transferred to another device.
