Thunderbird Failed to connect from the IMAP server

Hello,
Since yesterday, when I try to check for new emails with my Thunderbird email client, it responds:
Connection failure from the IMAP.ORANGE server with the username: ***@***
It offers me:
to retry / enter a new password / cancel
I don't know what to do.... It was working fine until now and, as far as I remember, I haven't changed anything.
I checked the settings, but I didn't see anything unusual.
Even changing the password for the IMAP account still gives the same message.
However, on my ORANGE account, my incoming emails are displayed properly. So it's purely a Thunderbird issue.
Can anyone help me??

Hello,
Since the Orange servers went down yesterday, after they were restored, I noticed the same blockage today...
I also tried to reset the password, but that wasn't enough...
As a result, I solved the problem by opening:
the Thunderbird menu => Help => Troubleshooting Information => Clear the startup cache (button in the box on the right) => this restarts Thunderbird while clearing the cache => Re-enter the password (the same as usual, which also worked on the webmail)
=> Access to the email is functioning correctly again
I hope this action also solves your issue.
My mission is to kill time and theirs is to kill me in turn.

To make it easier to locate, here is a screenshot of the "clear startup cache" button's location
good evening, I have the same problem and I would like to follow your advice but I cannot find the "menu" button on Thunderbird
I have two email accounts, one works as before but the second one is stuck
kind regards
