Alcatel F530 voicemail issue

I just installed an Alcatel F530 Voice Duo phone, and the answering machine is not taking messages.

    Hello,

    To check:

    • That you have properly selected the recording answering machine mode Rep.enr
    • That the number of rings that will trigger the answering machine is correctly set. Operators typically set their voicemail to activate after 5 rings; a good setting is 4 rings.
    • Finally, that the answering machine is indeed activated ==> base screen displays 00

    It is very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it isn’t there...

      Hello,

      Are you sure that the display on the base of your Alcatel F530 shows LA?

      Wouldn't it be rA instead?

      Edit: The F630 can display LA when access to the answering machine is ongoing...

      Try unplugging the power supply from the base and removing the batteries from the handset, then, after a good minute, put everything back in place (watch out for the battery polarities).
