How to block emails without a sender in Outlook

Hello,

Please, I can't take it anymore!!!

For several weeks now, I have been receiving about 30 emails daily in my main Outlook inbox that I would categorize as junk mail.

Of course, I have blocked some of these email addresses. But the real issue is that most of the emails have no sender (email address masked). I didn't even know that was possible!

I then created rules in Outlook, but it doesn't work; there are always new words, and I keep getting flooded with junk emails.

Please, can someone help me? Is there a way to put an end to this harassment?

Thanks in advance,

Lila

These spam emails have been ruining my life for several months as well. I had actually already consulted this thread some time ago.

And I finally found the solution!

You need to create a rule that moves ALL emails where we are the recipient EXCEPT those where the sender contains an @ (meaning where we have the sender's email).

Unable to upload the screenshot, so I'm giving you a link to the image that details the rule: https://ibb.co/dQ6m6xS

I just tried this technique, now let's see if it lasts over time!

Hello,

A big thank you to @Virginie for this clever solution.

Someone in my circle had this problem. He was receiving dozens of spam emails per day with no sender on the Outlook webmail. With so many notifications on his phone. He had searched the spam settings on Outlook without success.

While browsing the CCM forum, I came across this solution that I suggested he test. He has been implementing it for a few days now and it works for him.

I'm reposting Virginie's screenshot which may eventually be deleted by her host.

Is it still working? I did that today, we'll see.

If I found the solution and I'm relieved even though it took a bit of time

You need to go to the problematic message: right-click, view, view the message source.

In the text that appears, search for the email address that sends the message and enter it in the Outlook blocking settings.

I'm relieved, but every now and then one slips through anyway!

I've been through this before and followed all these steps. It works a bit at first, but then we find ourselves flooded again. So sorry to disappoint you, but it will only be temporary ????

And that's normal because this "solution" is not one, spammers will change their sender name 50 times a day, it's robots doing this, not humans.
The effect is, at best, immediate for a few minutes/hours or days.

I worked until recently in this field (IT) and I told you, there is no technical solution, except to change your address and use another one. And even then it will be temporary, UNLESS at the same time you protect yourself through a system like Firefox relay or an equivalent that allows you to never show your real address.

Sorry, but in a month I only have 10 spams per day instead of 150 before, and out of those 10 spams, they are well-known sites with verified senders. We'll see in a few months, but for now, it's really working!

Hello
It's because there is no technical solution possible, except for creating you a new email address.

Especially since what suppliers are doing, they could very well block those shippers without addresses!

No, it's not because you don't "see" an address at your level that there isn't one.
