On quite a few platforms, this little phrase has been appearing for a few months now, and accounts are being temporarily or more permanently blocked.

The platforms assume it's linked to hacking attempts to breach their servers and seem to have found only this means to fight against it.

Users are doubly victimized; either a real hacker is making attempts, which may protect (if possible) the user, or they no longer have access to their account, even though the "anomalies" have nothing to do with hacking.

This is a fact. There is no definitive and unique solution.

If there weren't millions of hacked accounts very regularly, the platforms wouldn't resort to these brutal account closures.

Unfortunately, it really is millions of accounts that are truly hacked; data is regularly found for sale on the darknet.

There is only one thing to do: each person must resolve the issue with (in this case, Snapchat) and follow their instructions to the letter (for example, not making any attempts for 24 hours), otherwise the cut-off will restart for another 24 hours or worse, extend to 3 days or more. It's a robot that blindly applies these cuts. It never gets tired.
