HP DESKJET 2700 Printer Setup Cartridges Blocked

Hello,

I have an HP DeskJet 2700 printer that I bought over 2 years ago.

For the past 15 days, it has not been working, and I can't find a solution. I contacted HP customer service, but they are unable to help me since it's no longer under warranty...

When I try to print, an error message appears: "use the setup cartridges provided with the printer" and prevents me from doing anything...

Of course, I no longer have those cartridges, as the installation was done a long time ago... I have never had any problems before and I have always used HP cartridges....

If anyone is able to help me, I would be really grateful!! I'm really not good at these things ????

hi

I found this on the HP site ==> click here

look at "type 3" for cartridges No. 305 for your printer

Thank you for your response, but this is a problem resolution for the initial setup of the printer. Which for me is not the case… I started it more than 2 years ago with these installation cartridges. Since then I have been using the printer frequently with regular HP cartridges. Then, 15 days ago, for no apparent reason (I haven't uninstalled/modified anything), this error message appeared. I tried turning it on and off, removing and reinsertig the cartridges, inserting new ones... nothing works. I don't understand ????????

re

ok, and at startup, did you have the cartridges described on the HP page?

have you tested the following manipulations on the HP page?

If the error appears with CONFIGURATION or Instant Ink Ready cartridges installed, or if you have installed new cartridges and received the error, proceed to the next step.

I also see on this site that there are Instant Ink Ready 305 cartridges ==> click here

otherwise, I don't see how to resolve your issue

I have exactly the same problem for the past few weeks!!
Same printer, same message.
Completely in error.. I forced updates through the printer's internal software, and I'm still getting the same message.
