Freebox Mini 4K TV Box Issues

Hello, For several months I have been experiencing a problem with the Freebox TV box turning on.

When I turn on my TV and then the box, it connects and I see it searching for recommendations, and then the menu appears: TV, replay, Netflix, Prime Video etc.... I go to Netflix and choose my movie. After 5 minutes everything stops and I find myself back on the menu. When I return to my movie, the box has forgotten what I was watching as if I had never plugged it in, and after 5 minutes the problem occurs again. I have to turn off the box several times before I can finally watch until the end, or I have to unplug the box when it really doesn’t want to work, and this happens with all applications. The support team had me reset everything but there was no improvement. Free sent me a new box with a remote, but it’s the same. Am I turning off my Freebox incorrectly? It didn't use to do this. Can you please help me understand, thank you.

Hello, I've been having the same problem as you for several months now.

I've changed my TV box twice; it works fine for a few days and then it comes back ?????

WARNING, I have no issues with my internet connection, and when the TV crashes

if I'm on Netflix on another TV, no problem.

I think Free is aware of the issue, but a Mini 4K box with a subscription at 29.99

is not worth it.

I'm in the same situation with Prime and Netflix on my two TV boxes. And for some time now, it even crashes during a live broadcast or a replay.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Freebox. If I understand correctly, you are having difficulties using the applications on your Freebox because it shuts down after a few minutes of use, and you have to turn it off several times for it to work properly.

It's hard to pinpoint exactly what is causing this issue, but there could be several possible reasons. Your Freebox may be experiencing overheating, which can cause it to shut down automatically to prevent damage. If that's the case, you might try letting your Freebox console cool down before turning it back on and see if that resolves the issue.

It's also possible that your remote control is damaged, which can cause errors in the commands sent to the Freebox. In that case, try using a different remote control and see if that improves the situation.

Finally, the problem could be due to a malfunction in the Freebox system. If that's the case, you can contact Free support to have them check the system and, if necessary, repair it.

I hope these tips help you resolve the issue with your Freebox. Feel free to ask me any questions if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your response, but everything you mentioned has already been done. The support team even sent me a new box and a remote control as previously mentioned. However, I still have the same issue. It's absolutely incomprehensible.
