Hello,

The "empty paper" message on your Canon MG3600 printer can have several possible causes. Here are some solutions you can try to resolve this issue:

Check that the paper tray is properly inserted: make sure the paper tray is fully inserted into the printer and that it doesn’t move. If you’ve recently filled the paper tray, ensure that you’ve correctly repositioned the paper guides to prevent the paper from shifting.

Check that the paper is of good quality: only use quality paper and ensure that the paper is clean, dry, and not sticking together. Avoid using damaged, crumpled paper or paper that has been exposed to moisture.

Check that the quantity of paper is correct: make sure that the paper tray is not overloaded. If the tray is too full, the paper may jam or not be properly picked up by the printer.

Check that the paper feed rollers are not dirty or worn: if the paper feed rollers are dirty or worn, they may not be able to pick up the paper correctly. Clean the rollers with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water or 70% isopropyl alcohol.

Try restarting the printer: turn off the printer and unplug it from the power outlet for a few minutes. Plug the printer back in and turn it on to see if the problem persists.

If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it is possible that the printer needs to be repaired or replaced.
