Hello,

I need help: since the update of Thunderbird today to version 102.6.1, the background color of my email, including the page to write a new message, is black, whereas I had a light background. I could set the light background with the chosen theme (at the top), but today when I switch my theme back and click on "light," the theme changes and everything becomes light, including the top... I don't understand... has the update changed the compatibility of the two? I want to set the background to white, but it's impossible. I want to clarify that I haven't changed the system background color.
Thank you for your help

    Hello ....

Have you looked in the Tools tab ► Add-ons and Themes ....you should, in principle, find a light theme ..

If not, you should find one ► Here

    Best regards ► A+

Thank you for your response. The proposed themes are "basic". The thing is, I have a theme with a landscape that I would have liked to keep, but the page is black... I guess with the update, it's less compatible or something has changed, but I don't know what...

I have a theme with a landscape, but the background color is light.... the problem with this one is that the update made the text of the icons blurry...

If you want a light background, you need to set a light theme... personally, I don’t know of any other solution since the latest versions...

      See you!

Thank you, I had a mix of both, but it seems that I encountered the problem during a previous update, as the modules did not get updated at the same time.

It's not complicated at all and done in 15 minutes because the theme is pre-made and all you have to do is copy/paste it into the Thunderbird profile after giving it permission as explained in the link...

Now, the theme I created may not appeal to everyone... but this one is customizable with a bit of patience by changing the colors... though it's a bit more complicated to do if you're not very familiar with it.

I still think that new light themes or others will soon be available in the downloadable Thunderbird extensions.

        Cheers
