Device detected as keyboard instead of graphics tablet.

Hello,

I really need help!

I recently bought an XP-Pen Artist 12 graphic tablet. When I plug the tablet's USB cable into the computer, the device is recognized as a keyboard and mouse, so I can't connect the computer to the tablet. Additionally, I bought a USB A to HDMI adapter to connect the tablet to the computer and have the screen on the tablet, but since the tablet is recognized as a keyboard/mouse, the PC won't duplicate... I hope I was clear, thank you in advance for your help!

      It's true that without a computer in front of you it's complicated... but I'm trying just in case someone has already been in the same situation and knows how to solve the problem.

    For the computer, you could provide the brand and model for example... its age, the version of Windows, attach photos. In short..! do your best so that we know what we’re dealing with

    Go to a mechanic, without the car, nor the brand nor the model and ask him to solve...

    For the photos, they need to be uploaded to the site cjoint.com ... It will generate a link that you need to paste here.

    I strongly suspect your USB/HDMI adapter... These things don’t work 9 times out of 10. and we don’t know about this one either...???

    Your tablet must be USB-C and not USB-A...???
