Hello,
I have an adapter with an output voltage of 12V.
I would like to connect it to a device that requires only 9V... is that dangerous?
Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.8

Well, you're going to risk burning it out. But it's mainly the amperage that matters. What's the value?

Is that the power cable outlet? And how much does your device accept?

Forget it, it's completely different. Your cable will never fit on this device.
