How to get a refund for an Amazon package that you refused?

Hello :-) I placed several orders during Amazon's Prime Days and I tried to cancel one of them on the website, but unfortunately it failed, according to this email I received from Amazon:
We are contacting you regarding your cancellation request for order no. XXX
We were unable to cancel the following item(s) from your order:
ITACA - Medium Suitcase - Rigid 4-Wheel Checked Luggage - Durable Travel Case Made of ABS Material - Ultra Light Luggage with Combination Lock T71560, Tangerine
By: ITACA
Upon receiving your order, you can refuse the package. You can also return any unwanted items within 30 days to receive a full refund by visiting www.amazon.fr/returns.
Only shipped items will be charged to you. Cancelled items from an order will not be charged.
Since the order is arriving at my place, I refused the package as specified in the email; but does this cancel the order and initiate the refund, or do I need to perform another action from my Amazon account to be refunded for this order?
Have a nice Sunday everyone and thanks in advance!
^_^

Hello, I contacted Amazon's chat service; after refusing the package, they acknowledged my request and are processing the refund.
