Money2005 / modification date of statements

Solved

Hello,

I have been using Money 2005 for many years. And I am on Windows 11.

Since my file is large, I want to archive old years. But before that, I want to export the data so that I can use it later in Excel (in case I need to look up old transactions in the future).

I wanted to display a report by customizing the dates, details of the movements....

However, for several months now, when I go to "customize" in a report, the customization window does not appear; the program freezes. I have to close the program via the task manager.
Is there a setting I need to adjust somewhere? I can't find anything on the internet except for this question that concerns several people and which does not answer the question.. =>

Is there anyone here who has an idea?
Thank you in advance for your valuable help.

There is no special configuration to be made as this option is displayed by default on the left

I think the best solution would be to back up MsMoney on an external device..., to completely and cleanly uninstall MsMoney..., restart the PC and then reinstall it... because MsMoney sometimes crashes with Windows updates... ► If you're okay with doing this, I'll send you the best way to do it cleanly

See you

When I click on customize (see your photo), I don't see the window and Money freezes. That is the problem.

Okay for your manipulation, I'm willing to give it a try (especially the link to get Money).
Reassure me, you're using Windows 11.

I have been using MsMoney for over 15 years on Windows XP to 11 for 1 year and without any particular issues, except for an uninstallation and reinstallation when it crashes....

Don't forget to back up MsMoney on an external drive (USB key, for example) before uninstalling it in order to relaunch it after reinstalling....

  1. To uninstall MsMoney ► See this link
  2. Restart the PC
  3. Reinstall MsMoney ► Here
