Issue with ad doubleclick on android

Hello everyone!

I have a problem (it's not serious but it's really annoying) with my P30 Pro phone running Android.

I can no longer access certain sites (ads) directly with Google:

I get the famous little phrase that tells me the site is not accessible because ad.doubleclick.net does not allow the connection...

1. I didn't ask for that one! And I haven't installed anything on my phone for a long time.

2. I've seen that it could be a nasty virus...

3. I can't find anything to eradicate it: on Windows, yes, there are plenty of solutions... but not on Android!

4. And of course, Windows solutions don't work for Android... (it was too good to be true...)

5. Am I really the only one infected on Android?

I should mention that strangely, I have no issues on my computer...

Anyway, if a kind soul can explain to me the ins and outs and especially help me regain my freedom to open the sites I want... and spend my money as I see fit by buying things I don't necessarily need!

(I wonder if this isn't my banker's doing! lol)

A big thank you!

I tried all these solutions, but nothing worked...

But I managed to get rid of it anyway!

Simply by resetting my phone's network settings...

Thanks a lot anyway, bazfile, for the time you spent with me.

In the end, it was very simple...

Hello,

Delete the data from Chrome, see this page.
You can also delete data from Chrome via the settings of your phone, then Applications, then Google Chrome, then Storage, then Clear data.

so how to say...

I just did it, (both methods), and I even went too far because I clicked too quickly on delete data... it made my google account disappear, I need to redo it...

BUT it didn't change anything for ad.doubleclick which is still there and thriving!

worse than lice this thing... it clings on

Your Google account hasn't been deleted; you're simply logged out, just log back in.

Try this application, it detects all the apps that send push notifications that flood your smartphone with ads, which will help you find the culprit(s), then finish by scanning with MBAM.

It depends on your version of Android and the brand of your phone; for example, see this page the principle remains the same, for your specific case a simple internet search using the brand and model of your phone will give you the answer.
