Hello everyone. For the past few days, my Lenovo PC running Windows 10 Pro has been making a long beep at startup. It beeps long before it starts. Once it has booted, it doesn't beep again until the next startup. I have removed and cleaned the RAM stick and the internal hard drive, but it's still the same. Please, I need your help. Thank you.

    Hello,

None of the pages describing the beeping sequences mention a unique long beep. The only mention found concerns the server range and refers to a processor or motherboard issue.

    See:

There is also mention of a stuck key, try using another keyboard or an external keyboard.

If there is a problem with the RAM sticks, it's probably not enough just to clean them but rather to replace them.

    See:

In short, perhaps start by testing a RAM stick in isolation or replacing the current ones.

That said, we won't be able to carry out these tests for you or provide a miracle solution. It is necessary to check the different hypotheses or entrust the computer to a repair technician.

      Hello,

None of the pages describing the beep sequences mention a single long beep

Yes, that's right, it generally indicates a Phoenix BIOS on consumer Lenovo machines, where the single long beep does indeed signify a RAM issue:

        Hello Brucine,

I should have phrased ... that I went through (about ten). Thank you for correcting it.
