Alright;
In that case, it's normal. You need to be on DP (DisplayPort) to use 165Hz; with HDMI, you'll be limited to 144Hz

Hello;

Yes, of course, but it would have been faster if you had at least provided the brand/model of your screen.
Your screen must have several buttons to access its OSD Menu (Read your manual)
Inside, you should have the option to change the ***hz

Otherwise for Windows

Go to Settings > System > Display > click on Advanced display settings
Then click on Refresh rate
And choose the highest frequency

I have the same problem but I'm stuck at 60Hz and I'm using DP for that.

I went to the advanced display settings and checked the refresh rate options, and there is only 60Hz.

I don't understand, please help me. I spent 300 euros on this screen.

Hello,

I don't know if this will help you, but let's assume you're connected via DP behind your GPU and not your motherboard. Also, let's say you're using Nvidia,
Go to the Nvidia Control Panel > under display "Change resolution"
In the list of proposed resolutions, you'll see Ultra HD, HD, SD. And further down "PC"
Scroll down to PC and choose a resolution below

Here's an example in an image before/after

I hope this helps you

Hello, I have the problem that you illustrated. I would like to know if it's possible to find a way to stay at 1080p while setting the correct Hz frequency?

Thank you in advance

Hello,

What exactly is your problem? Because in the screenshot I sent... I show that when being under the resolution (Ultra HD/HD/SD) we are limited in frequency **Hz;
Whereas in PC resolution (scroll down, like in the image on the right)
we were able to unlock this limit after clicking on the resolution

The image on the left and right shows the difference between an Ultra HD/HD/SD resolution and the PC resolution on the right side of the image
