Move TV away from the antenna socket
Jahck -
Hello,
I would like to move my TV to the wall facing the one with the antenna socket.
How can I connect my wall socket without an extension cable (the width of my room is 5 meters)?
I should also mention that I have ADSL but with a low speed in a rural area, so internet TV would be complicated.
Are there any wireless transmitters and receivers available?
Thanks a million to anyone who takes the time to respond.

Hello, if you don't want any cables at all, I suggest using powerline adapters.

OK splitter with one input (to the satellite dish) and 6 outputs, 5 of which are wired. So you have 5 sockets distributed throughout the house. Unfortunately, not in the right place.
From your drawing, it appears that, unfortunately, the electrical box is not on the same wall as where you want to install the socket. You will need to run a cable from the free socket on the splitter to the new socket you are going to install.
As for the path to take... it's up to you to decide.

Hello and thank you,
my box is in another room too.
And it's actually the wall-mounted TV antenna output that I would like to be able to capture remotely.
How many powerline adapters would I need for that to work? And the wall-mounted antenna socket wouldn't be used?
Hello,
Here is a TNT antenna signal transmitter via Powerline: ==>

Hello,
It should be noted that, having lived myself in the past in a rural area where the ADSL speed was low (in other words, insufficient to run both the internet and the TV), I complained so much that the operator (Orange in this case) eventually replaced my TV decoder with a satellite decoder, which resolved the issue.
But obviously, the acquisition of the satellite dish and installation at my own expense, plus issues with permission if the housing is in a co-ownership.
So when you talk about the aerial connection, it's the one that's connected to the satellite dish, not the antenna?
Moving the TV is either going through a gadget like mentioned, but often it works only when it has time, or moving the aerial input with an extension cord, running along a skirting board, it can stay discreet as long as you don't have to cross the room in both directions to go to the opposite wall.
The concern is that the first device connected to the wall antenna must still be directly connected to a television.
Uh!!! What is this story?
It is indeed possible to connect a television to the base that is connected to the antenna, but it is not at all mandatory.
Good evening Baladur
So, I may have done the connections wrong, but I will take a picture of the assembly instructions and show it to you.
Thank you
I have a message from Neli on the screen
Check the connection of your base to the antenna socket
Press ok to restart
The Orange decoder is not a satellite decoder but an internet TV decoder.
Which customer service is asking this question?

I randomly called 3 antenna installers and they all say that a second antenna cable needs to be brought either from the satellite dish or from the wall antenna socket. When I ask if there is any equipment for this, they all say that it does not exist.
Hello
I finally think I’m going to return the Neli equipment because I want to avoid changing the antenna.
I’m currently looking into bringing an extension cord to the wall where I want to move my TV.
I noticed that there are 6 antenna cables at the circuit breaker. Can I run an extension from these cables? The wall I'm interested in is actually not far from this circuit breaker.
Thanks
I don’t understand much anymore.
Do you have a rooftop antenna connected to this socket or not?
You say you have a satellite dish... but only talk about an Orange TV box?
Is it an Orange TV box with a built-in satellite decoder?
Was this TV box connected to the antenna socket that you want to move and everything was working?
You talk about 6 TV cables at the circuit breaker... Can you post a picture of this splitter?
Where is it located in relation to the wall where you would like to install your television?
No, outside I have a satellite dish.
I also have an Orange TV box; I think this unit has a built-in satellite.
Yes, that's right; the TV box works well when it's plugged directly into the only wall antenna socket in my living room.
I will take a photo of the splitter.
So, the wall where I want to place the TV leads to a hall where the circuit breaker is located.
